Clued In Education Masterclasses are structured professional development programs designed for people who want to build capability and produce something they can use in their RTO.
Each masterclass includes six progressive online modules, providing 12 hours of guided learning. As you work through the modules, you will complete a practical assignment that applies the learning to your own role, RTO or area of responsibility.
At the end of the program, you will submit your completed assignment and meet individually with Catherine Hodgson for a one-hour online feedback and Q&A session. You will receive personalised feedback on your work, the opportunity to explore questions specific to your context and a Certificate of Professional Development Completion recording 13 hours of structured professional development.
All masterclasses are aligned with the expectations of the 2025 Standards for RTOs and focus on helping you translate those expectations into stronger workplace practice.
Planning for Engagement and Support Masterclass
The Planning for Engagement and Support Masterclass will help trainers and assessors develop a more deliberate, cohort-informed approach to training. Across six progressive online modules, you will examine the training context, build a meaningful understanding of your student cohort and plan a coherent learning journey that moves students from introduction through to practice, application and assessment readiness.
You will explore how to select activities with a clear learning purpose, build support into delivery, plan for accessibility and reasonable adjustment, monitor student progress and respond when students are not engaging or progressing as expected.
By the end of the masterclass, you will have developed a Cohort-Informed Training and Support Plan for a selected training product and student cohort. The completed plan will show how training will be structured, delivered, supported, monitored and improved.
The masterclass aligns particularly with Standards 1.1, 1.2, 1.7, 1.8, 2.3 and 2.4 of the 2025 Standards for RTOs.
This masterclass includes:

The masterclass is self-paced, giving you the flexibility to work through the modules at a time that suits you, with three months to complete the program from the date of enrolment.
