Clued In Education Masterclasses are structured professional development programs designed for people who want to build capability and produce something they can use in their RTO.
 
Each masterclass includes six progressive online modules, providing 12 hours of guided learning. As you work through the modules, you will complete a practical assignment that applies the learning to your own role, RTO or area of responsibility.
 
At the end of the program, you will submit your completed assignment and meet individually with Catherine Hodgson for a one-hour online feedback and Q&A session. You will receive personalised feedback on your work, the opportunity to explore questions specific to your context and a Certificate of Professional Development Completion recording 13 hours of structured professional development.
 
All masterclasses are aligned with the expectations of the 2025 Standards for RTOs and focus on helping you translate those expectations into stronger workplace practice.
 
Self-Assurance Masterclass
 
The Self-Assurance Masterclass will help RTO leaders move beyond reactive compliance checking and develop a systematic approach to monitoring quality and performance. Across six progressive online modules, you will examine the relationship between governance, risk, evidence, accountability and continuous improvement under the 2025 Standards for RTOs.
 
You will learn how to map obligations to operational responsibilities, identify assurance priorities, decide what evidence leaders need, establish meaningful monitoring activities and develop reporting that supports informed decision-making. You will also explore how findings, feedback, complaints, validation outcomes and performance data can be brought together to drive demonstrable improvement.
 
By the end of the masterclass, you will have developed a contextualised RTO Self-Assurance Framework and Annual Assurance Plan. This will identify what your RTO needs to monitor, why it matters, what evidence will be considered, who is accountable and how findings will be reported and acted upon.
 
The masterclass aligns particularly with Quality Area 4 of the 2025 Standards for RTOs, including organisational accountability, governance, risk management, systematic monitoring and continuous improvement.
