Clued In Education Masterclasses are structured professional development programs designed for people who want to build capability and produce something they can use in their RTO.
Each masterclass includes six progressive online modules, providing 12 hours of guided learning. As you work through the modules, you will complete a practical assignment that applies the learning to your own role, RTO or area of responsibility.
At the end of the program, you will submit your completed assignment and meet individually with Catherine Hodgson for a one-hour online feedback and Q&A session. You will receive personalised feedback on your work, the opportunity to explore questions specific to your context and a Certificate of Professional Development Completion recording 13 hours of structured professional development.
All masterclasses are aligned with the expectations of the 2025 Standards for RTOs and focus on helping you translate those expectations into stronger workplace practice.
Student Support Masterclass
The Student Support Masterclass has been designed specifically for RTO staff who support students but do not deliver training. This may include enrolment officers, administration staff, reception staff, student services personnel, support coordinators and compliance staff.
Across six progressive online modules, you will follow the student journey from initial enquiry and enrolment through to participation, completion or exit. You will learn how to provide clear information, recognise indicators that a student may need support, respond appropriately to disclosures and concerns, understand reasonable adjustment responsibilities and use effective referral and escalation pathways.
The masterclass also examines professional boundaries, privacy, recordkeeping, student safety, complaints, appeals and how information gathered through student interactions can be used to identify opportunities for improvement.
By the end of the masterclass, you will have developed a Student Support Practice Framework relevant to your role or RTO. This will include practical support tools, referral and escalation pathways, and prioritised actions for improving the student experience.
The masterclass aligns particularly with Quality Area 2 of the 2025 Standards for RTOs, including student information, suitability, training support, reasonable adjustment, safety, feedback, complaints and appeals.

The masterclass is self-paced, giving you the flexibility to work through the modules at a time that suits you, with three months to complete the program from the date of enrolment.
